Headquartered in Toronto, BSE has grown to its present size of 100 + employees with production centers in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
Our expertise stems from decades of in-house research and development on Electronic Control Units (ECUs) for the remanufactured market, in North America and Europe. This know-how then naturally extended into the supply of automotive electronic service and repair tools. Our original scan tool, the Blue Streak Diagnostic Monitor (BDM Pro), was first released in 1998 and covers up to 2009 model year vehicles. Technicians in some of the country’s most effective service stations continue to praise the BDM Pro to this very day for its affordability, durability, and ease of use.
BSE is striving to be on the cutting edge of engine diagnostic technology and recently launched the latest in scan tool technology. The Ottotest was researched and designed for 3 years and is based on 14 years of BDM knowledge. When teamed up with its Vehicle Communication Interface it becomes a powerful tool with the latest available technology, namely autoID, database search, multi-graph, multi-trace graphs, enlarged display, gauges, snapshots, on the fly unit conversion, quick internet updates and valued customer feedback that helps us remain innovative leaders in the field of Engine Diagnostics.
